1.2 Location Information: LocaCion is a location-based chat application that requires access to your location. We collect and store your precise location information when you enable location services on your device and use LocaCion. We only retain your location information for a maximum of 20 minutes.
1.3 Technical Information: We may collect technical information about your device and usage of LocaCion, including:
- Log information (e.g., IP address, access dates and times, and App features accessed or used).

2.1 Provision of Services: We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve LocaCion, including:
- Enabling location-based chat functionality.
- Delivering and personalizing content and features.
- Responding to your inquiries and providing support.
- Understanding and analyzing usage patterns and preferences.
2.2 Security and Encryption: All message texts sent through LocaCion are end-to-end encrypted to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of your communications. Your private key is only on your device and retrieved with your user id. If you should change your device, reinstall the application, or create a new account, you will not be able to read your previous messages. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
3. Sharing of Information:
3.1 Service Providers: We may engage third-party service providers to perform functions and provide services to us, such as hosting and maintenance services, and customer support. These service providers may have access to your information for the sole purpose of performing their services but are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. The primary third party is Supabase.
3.2 Compliance with Laws and Legal Requests: We may disclose your information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before disclosing your information, unless prohibited by law or court order.

4.1 Location Information: You have the option to enable or disable location services through your device settings. However, disabling location services may impact the functionality and features available in LocaCion.
4.2 Push Notifications: You can manage your preferences for receiving push notifications from LocaCion through your device settings.
5. Children's Privacy LocaCion is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children.

We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on the LocaCion website or through other reasonable means.
